Network/Internet User Agreement (AUP)

All users of the Gideon School District network resources are bound by the latest District Network/Internet User Agreement (Acceptable Use Policy - AUP). Use of the network implies that you agree to the terms of the Network/Internet User Agreement. All student and teacher handbooks contain a copy of the Network/Internet User Agreement.


Even though network use implies agreement with the User Agreement, all employees and guest users of the Gideon School District Computer Network and Network Resources must have a signed user agreement on file. Students indicate their acceptance of the agreement by receiving a copy of the student handbook. Copies of the Network/Internet User Agreement (AUP) are available in the central office or by downloading them through the links on the left.

The Network/Internet User Agreement (AUP) may be updated from time to time.  A best effort will be made to notify users of any such updates.  Employees and guests will be required to sign a new copy of the Network/Internet User Agreement (AUP) when any such updates are approved.  Students will be provided a copy of the revised Network/Internet User Agreement (AUP) when such revisions are made.  The latest revision shall supercede any such published agreement in handbooks or other district materials.
