What Does The School Counselor Do?
Elementary School
Counselor:
Assists
students to learn the skills and attitudes necessary to be successful
learners and works with students to address their career,
personal-social and educational needs and concerns.
High School Counselor:
Works with
students in acquiring guidance competencies that form the foundation
for their next steps educationally and occupationally.
School Counselor: Fosters excellence by helping all students to achieve their potential. The counselor promotes through work in four program areas.
1. Classroom presentations and large group activities.

Area III: Educational and Vocational Development
