#37 SISFIN HR Portal (Some Functions Only Work with Internet Explorer)
- You
can view personal W-4 information, download a new W-4 form from the
IRS, view leave balance, view pay history, view benefit history, view
deduction history, submit leave requests, view leave request status,
submit personal inforamtion changes, and view personal information
changes. You are currently able to use the portal to print a
new
pay stub. Classroom inventory can also be completed through
the
portal. Eventually we anticipate that you will be able to
create
and
submit requisitions through the portal. District employee
news
that may be valuable to you will also often be posted in the portal.
You must have a username and password to log onto the portal.

School Retirement System
- PSRS-PEERS
information! As a public school employee, you can register
for
access. This site is your one-stop location to learn about
your
retirement system. The site includes calculators to help you
calculate the cost to purchase retirement credit, calculators to help
estimate retirement benefits, information about various retirement
options, the latest legislation that impacts your retirement program,
as well as a wealth of other information. With your personal
login you can check your retirement account, your years of service,
your account value, your benificiary information, as well as
update your personal information.

voluntary retirement savings. The site offers many featurs to
help make accessing the Gideon Enhanced 403(b) plan easier.
You
can request approvals for disbursements such as loans, hardships,
regular disbursements and more, all online at your convenience.
The site currently is not compatible with Vanguard so
employees
using Vanguard may manage other currently approved
vendors through this site but must work individually with the central
office for issues pertaining to their Vanguard 403(b) issues.
- Vanguard Funds
-- Company website with information about personal and retirement
investing. Vanguard is an approved 403(b) vendor as of May 8,
2008. Currently, Vanguard WILL allow Roth 403(b) contibutions
and
WILL accept matching employer contributions. Mutual fund
investments are not guaranteed by the US government and they can lose
value, but they can provide very good long term returns for retirement
investments. Vanguard will allow you to move funds between
their
own funds at any time but there may be fees imposed by Vanguard or by
the US government for removing funds prior to retirement.
This
choice is probably best for the independent investor. They
have
lower overall costs, but do not provide the level of support provided
by a broker backed vendor.
- ING
Life Insurance and Annuity Company
-- ING provids a number of fixed and variable annuity options as
investment vehicles. Some ING plans WILL allow Roth 403(b)
contributions and WILL
accept matching employer contributions. Investors
can select between fixed yield options and a variety of mutual fund
options. Mutual
fund investments are not guaranteed by the US government and they can
lose value, but they can provide very good long term returns for
retirement investments. Early redemption fees may be imposed
by ING
or by the US government for removing funds prior to
retirement or prior to a stated period of time. Approved
4/14/2009. Their site has a lot of good information along
with
some helpful retirement planning tools. This is a broker
backed
vendor and offers more personalized direction that companies such as
Vanguard. They are probably a better choice for individuals
desiring to have more specific guidance with their choices.

T Jones (FTJ)
-- Main Missouri Educators Web Site. Once logged in you can
view
your benefits and set up an individual account. FTJ was
approved
as a 403(b) vendor on July 10, 2008. They offer two main
products, Tax
Vantage Annuity and FTJ Funds Choice.
Mutual
fund investments are not guaranteed by the US government and they can
lose value, but they can provide very good long term returns for
retirement investments. Early redemption fees may be imposed
by FTJ
or by the US government for removing funds prior to

Price that would allow them to be part of our current 403(b) plan
