In 1880 Charlie Wells owned a two-room log house. It was located 150 yards west of where the Frisco Depot in Gideon was originally built. Charlie Wells sold the two-room cabin to a man named Frank Noisworthy in
1899 or 1900. Frank Noisworthy stayed in the house until F. E. Gideon and W. P. Anderson came to Gideon to start their business, which was a lumber mill and later became the box company.
